SLC is a company that specializes in the Medical and IT fields, providing staffing, equipment, and services to US Government agencies and the many organizations that provide services to support to those agencies.

Our vision is for SLC to continue being a successfully run, highly trusted and highly sought after consulting company that provides quality staffing, product, and service-based solutions to US government agencies and commercial companies located in the US and Japan.

Our friendly nature, proven reliability and our adherence to highly ethical business practices provides us with the trust and respect of our customers, partners, and support staff.
In turn, we anticipate becoming the  go-to company for government agencies needing solutions, individuals seeking employment opportunities and vendors wishing to partner with a company that can identify opportunities which can utilize their product offerings as solutions for our primary customer, the US Government.

Establishing relationships with a number of reliable vendors allows us to maintain a strong base of product- and service-based solutions that, if needed, can be acquired and implemented on short notice.

About the Founder

Harry R Lawrence III is a veteran of the US Airforce as well as the child of a military service member and has spent almost all of his life in a military environment.

Prior to joining the Air Force, he studied Electrical Engineering at the University of South Florida and the University of Florida.

After several years of study, he decided to serve his country and joined the US Air Force. Upon completing technical training school, he received orders to be stationed in Japan and was assigned to the 374th Medical group, where he worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician, collecting and analyzing specimens for clinical significance.

After five years of service he, left the military and started a 23-year career with the University of Maryland where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Management and held several IT roles, to include; Systems Operator/Administrator, Help Desk Support Specialist, National Test Center Manager and Computer Supply Specialist. He later accepted a job with Central Texas College and served as the Director of Information Technology for the Asia Pacific region.

Outside of his formal employment, Harry has a broad range of additional technical experience that includes Internet Online marketing, teaching Business English to employees of Japanese corporations, and recruiting staff for medical, technical, and educational roles. He has also managed several teams of technicians who provide Help Desk and computer maintenance support for US Government agencies and companies located in downtown Tokyo.

In addition to holding a degree in Information Systems Management, he also has several computer certifications and a certification in Japanese language proficiency.

He is a strong advocate of physical conditioning and self- improvement as he feels that these pursuits are the things that drive him towards excellence.

His entrepreneurial spirit, knack for solving problems with technology and his desire to provide opportunities to those in need, while simultaneously supporting the military/US government mission, are what inspired him to form Staff Landers Consulting LLC.
